  6. The Essex Deanery Lay Leadership Training Classes:  Lay leadership courses for 2023

    These classes will be held in person at Canterbury College.  We have partnered with Canterbury College for the Lay Readers courses and they are providing us with the technology support to also bring the classes by zoom.  Please join us for one or for all of the classes.  Please contact Rev.     It is a surprise to some to hear that monasticism (nuns and monks, gathered and dispersed communities, vows) is very much a ‘thing’ in the Anglican tradition, including in Canada. Featuring representatives from the Sisterhood of St. John the Divine, the Order of the Holy Cross, and other clergy and laity connected to religious communities, we will learn about the history of monasticism in Anglicanism, what daily life looks like, its wisdom and gifts for those of us ‘in the world’, and how we might come alongside these communities to deepen our spiritual lives and our Church. There are four Wednesdays in the month ie: March 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th, and the Lenten lunch will be held at noon on each of those days The cost is a free will offering, all donations go to Contact House.
  6. The parish of Trinity St. James, Bayfield & the Bayfield Area Food Bank are hosting a Sugar Bush Tour and Pancake 'n Sausage Brunch. SATURDAY, APRIL 1 at 9:00 AM.
    Great fun for all ages to come on out to Pine Lake Family Campground, 77794 Orchard LIne, Bayfield to enjoy a Pancake brunch with Maple Syrup and then hop on a hay wagon to learn how the syrup is made.  Girl Guide Cookies and Schilbe Maple Syrup will be available for Purchase.  9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 

  7. St. Jude’s, London: Trivia Night – Saturday April 15 – 7 PM
    We will have tables of 6. Trivia game has 100 questions over 10 rounds. There will be refreshments for purchase. Some snacks are provided but tables can bring their own.
