  2. On April 19 the Anglican Foundation of Canada (AFC) kicked-off its 2nd annual Say Yes! to Kids Campaign with a live online launch. The campaign will run until June 30, 2022 and will help churches across Canada raise money to support ministry and outreach that meets the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of children, youth, and young adults.
    For every $10 donated to the Huron teams, $4 will be shared between youth-focused ministry at the diocesan and national levels.

  3. Education for Ministry Virtual Open Houses in Support of a Learning Church
    Wednesday, May 25 and Tuesday, June 7 at 7pm.
    Interested in learning more about Education for Ministry? Please join us on either Wednesday, May 25 or Tuesday, June 7 at 7pm for a virtual Open Houses where you can learn more about Education for Ministry. New classes starting in September.

  4. The Faculty of Theology at Huron is excited to share new developments and pathways in our Licentiate in Theology program! Join us on Tuesday, May 24 from 8-9pm ET to learn about our new certificate programs and exclusive opportunities in our Masters-level degrees, and meet students from across ten dioceses in Canada.
    There is also a chance for you to in a special Huron prize!
    The Licentiate in Theology Gathering will be hosted by the coordinator of the Licentiate Program, the Rev. Dr. Grayhame Bowcott, and the Rev. Dr. Dawn Davis, Assistant Professor of Contextual Learning and Director of Leadership for Ministry Programs at Huron. And, for the first time at Huron, learn how courses in the Licentiate in Theology program can be used toward advanced standing in the Master of Theological Studies program!

    May 14 - Pastoral Care:How do we care for each other?
    June 18 - Homiletics: How do we write a 5 min sermon?

  8. I Wasn’t Trained for This! Making administration a part of your ministry. Huron Faculty of Theology Degree Credit Course: Church and Non-Profit Administration.
    May 16-June 2, 2022, Online (Zoom link to follow) 6:30-9:30 pm ET (Monday-Thursday)
    This immersive, degree credit course will help build confidence and competence in organizational leadership and administrative management. Drawing upon business literature, church consulting techniques, and postcolonial approaches to ministry theory, deepen and grow as a leader.
    The Rev. Dr. Soren M. Hessler is an United Methodist minister with a PhD in practical theology with a concentration in leadership and administration from Boston University School of Theology.

  10. Learning on Purpose is a 2-week leadership development course and introduction to learning in community offered by the Centre for Christian Studies.  It will be offered this year from June 13 to 24, 2022 in London, ON at Metropolitan United Church. 
    It is a practical, holistic, hands-on, theological, learning community experience. LoP can be taken as a stand-alone Continuing Studies course or as the beginning of the Diaconal Ministries program or for personal discernment.  An excellent opportunity for Anglican deacons who wish to deepen their leadership skills, biblical and theological learning, and further explore their diaconal call to education, spiritual care, and social ministry.

He will say something about what the Gospel is, what evangelism is, and how we can do it in everyday life. There will be times for teaching, reflection, and discussion.   • St. John’s Anglican Church in Cambridge is looking for a director for music ministry,
    St. John's, Cambridge, Ontario is an enthusiastic suburban parish.  The ministry is part time and includes providing music for one service on Sunday Mornings and choir practice once a week.   The choir of 10-12 members is SATB.  Currently the position also includes selecting the hymns and one anthem a week.  Availability for weddings and funerals would also be appreciated.  
    Compensation would be based on 10-12 hours per week.  Three weeks of paid vacation time is also provided.
