CONCLUSION OF MINISTRY

The Reverend Ann Webber has concluded her ministry at St. Hilda’s-St. Luke’s, St. Thomas and Trinity, Aylmer.

Ann remains a priest in good standing in the Diocese of Huron with a General Permit of the Bishop.

INDUCTIONS

On behalf of Bishop Townshend, the Venerable Dr Stephen McClatchie inducted the Reverend Michael DeKay as the Rector of the Church of St Michael and All Angels, London, on Sunday, April 21, 2024..

The preacher was be the Reverend Sarah Armstrong. 

On behalf of Bishop Townshend, the Venerable Sam Thomas will induct the Reverend Canon Bill Ward as the Rector of the Church of St John the Evangelist, London, on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at 3:00 p.m.

The preacher will be the Reverend Canon Robert Lemon. Clergy are invited to vest, the colour being white. A light reception will follow in the parish hall.

On behalf of Bishop Townshend, the Venerable Osita Oluigbo will induct the Reverend Richard Hetke as the Rector of the Church of the Epiphany, Woodstock on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. The preacher will be the Reverend Rob Luxton. Clergy are invited to vest, the colour being white. Refreshments will be served following the service.

APPOINTMENTS

Bishop Townshend has appointed the Venerable Dr Jim Sutton as the interim Priest-in-Charge of Holy Trinity, St. George, effective from March 1 through December 31, 2024.

ORDINATIONS

Bishop Townshend announces that the following will be called to the Presbyterate at a service of Ordination to be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, the Memorial of Boniface, Archbishop and Martyr, at 7:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s (Walkerville), Windsor.

Clergy are invited to vest, the colour being red.
